Opening ceremony of the International Women’s Volleyball Tournament in 2019 - LienVietPostBank Cup
(BNP) - In the evening of February 22nd, at the Provincial Multi-purpose Arena, Vietnam Volleyball Federation in coordination with Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee and Lien Viet Post Bank organized the opening ceremony of the International Women’s Volleyball Tournament in 2019 - LienVietPostBank Cup.
Leaders of Bac Ninh province and General Department of Sports and Physical Education give honorable flags to delegations.
The International Women’s Volleyball Tournament in 2019 - LienVietPostBank Cup has the participation of 8 teams including Fujian (China), Shanghai Fudan (China), U23 Kazakhstan, DPR Korea, LienVietPostBank, Kinh Bac - Bac Ninh, Tien Nong Thanh Hoa, and VTV Binh Dien Long An.
On behalf of provincial leaders, speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong warmly welcomed and thanked the General Department of Sports and Physical Education, Vietnam Volleyball Federation, and sponsors for choosing Bac Ninh to host the Championship.
Vice Chairman hoped that coaches, athletes, and referees would promote the spirit of sport, devote all their abilities in competition, leave many good impressions to the audience, and also gain interesting discoveries about Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac culture through spring trips in Quan Ho region.

The International Women’s Volleyball Tournament in 2019 - LienVietPostBank Cup held in Bac Ninh is an activity in the chain of Festival of "Arrive in Quan Ho land in 2019" and the 10th anniversary of Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk songs recognized as the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. It is also an opportunity for Bac Ninh to strengthen the introduction of economic, cultural, sports, tourism potentials and development achievements to domestic and international friends and visitors.
The tournament will be taken place from February 22nd to March 1st, 2019 at the Provincial Multi-purpose Arena and opened free for audiences.
In the first day of competition, there were two very attractive matches, in which Kinh Bac - Bac Ninh passed Shanghai Fudan (China) with the score of 3-0, LienVietPostBank's beat U23 Kazakhstan with the score 3-0.
