Gala Dinner of "Miss Kinh Bac 2019” pageant

Provincial leaders give flowers to judges of the pageant at the Gala Dinner.

The “Miss Kinh Bac 2019” pageant, one of the activities celebrating the 10^th anniversary of Quan Ho Bac Ninh folksongs recognized as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO, aims to honor the values of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac women and widely promote the characteristics of Quan Ho land’s culture. Through 06 times of organization, the pageant has left many impressions, received the attention and encouragement of the people, especially the contribution of donors and relevant units in promoting the beauty of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac women during the integration period.

At the Tourism Ambassador section, in spite of being very young, contestants are all trying to express themselves with the ability of presentation to introduce the traditional, cultural values of the homeland, where they were born and grew up; to speak of Quan Ho folksongs; historical monuments; traditional craft villages in the province... The provincial Tourism Ambassador will be responsible for advertising the culture and history of Bac Ninh's homeland to the domestic and foreign community.

Contestants also, in turn, experienced the performances of the Ao dai, Swimsuit, and Dress, which are the sub-sections to help them show their skills of performing physical beauty.

The results of the Tourism Ambassador and the sub-exam sections will be announced on the "Miss Kinh Bac 2019" Final which will be taken place on February 20, 2019, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh city.

In the framework of the Gala Dinner program, contestants have exchanged and relaxed after the stressful sections through special performances such as singing Quan Ho folksongs, folk dance, and modern dance...to boost the solidarity among them and prepare the most comfortable psychology for entering the Final.
