Pham Van Tra Study and Talent Promotion Fund “Make your dreams fly”
(BNP) – On the evening of September 4th, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Pham Van Tra Study and Talent Promotion will organize the awarding ceremony for cadres, pupils, students and outstanding sons of Bac Ninh homeland having excellent achievements in various fields, winning national and international competition.
General Pham Van Tra and Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien awarded gifts to excellent students in the school year 2016 – 2017.
Pham Van Tra Study and Talent Promotion Fund were established on November 19th 2010 by General Pham Van Tra, former Minister of Defense, Honorary Chairman of Pham Van Tra Study and Talent Promotion Fund. Upon its establishment, the Fund has mobilized VND 12 billion. By September 2017, the total fund reached more than VND 22 billion.
The Fund will award gifts to cadres, pupils, students and outstanding sons of Bac Ninh homeland having excellent achievements in various fields and winning the national and international competition.
Through 7 times, the Fund has accompanied by the movement of study and talent promotion to build up learning society in the province, timely praise nearly 1,200 cadres, teachers, pupils and students with excellent achievements… along with more than 400 students, disadvantaged students with the total reward of nearly VND 10 billion.
This year, the Fund will continue to organize awards for winners winning national examinations and the National Science and Technology Competition, the International Mathematical Olympiad; students scored high in the 2018 national high school exam good students in difficult circumstances; athletes won medals in national and regional tournaments and so on. In particular, the program will pay attention to honor the intangible cultural heritage artisans in Quan ho folk songs, Tuồng singing, water puppets, Trống quân singing, Ca tru… with the total amount of about VND 1.7 billion.
