PPC’s Standing Vice Chairwoman visits and presents Tet gift in Tien Du district

(BNP) - On the occasion of Lunar New Year Giap Thin 2024, on February 1, 2024, Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council (PPC) visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother, revolutionary veteran, and the elderly in Tien Du district.

Joining the delegation were representatives and leaders of the Office of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and the PPC; the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and Tien Du district.

PPC’s Standing Vice Chairwoman Tran Thi Hang visited and presented gift to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Bui Thi Sau, who was born in 1957 in Trung village, Canh Hung commune. She has a husband and son who are martyrs. Among them, her son (born in 1979) is a police officer of Canh Hung commune, who died in the process of suppressing subjects disrupting public order in the area.

The Standing Vice Chairwoman also visited and presented gift to revolutionary veteran Nguyen Van Hai, who was born in 1924 in Dinh village, Tri Phuong commune. She also visited Mrs. Dinh Thi Khoi, who is 100 years old in Vinh Phu village, Phat Tich commune.

Hang kindly asked about the health, living conditions and sent her new year’s greetings to Vietnamese Heroic Mother, revolutionary veteran and the elderly for a joyful, healthy and warm Lunar New Year Giap Thin.

On the same day, Mrs. Tran Thi Hang visited and presented gifts to Phat Tich charity and vocational guidance Center. The Center currently is nurturing more than 200 helpless children and 9 elderly people with good care. Hang kindly asked about the health and lives of the elderly and children. At the same time, she wished the children, the elderly and the Center’s staff a happy new year with good health and a warm traditional Tet.
