Praise 40 typical heads of Front Work Committee

(BNP) – In the afternoon of November 5th, Provincial Standing Committee of Fatherland Front in coordination with Phoenix International Travel Development Co., Ltd held a Conference of meeting and praising typical heads of the Front Work Committee and presenting saving-passbook to teachers having difficult situation in the province on the occasion of Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Traditional Day (November 18th) and Vietnam Teacher’s Day (November 20th).

At the meeting, participants reviewed the 88 years of building and developing Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18th, 1930 – 2018). Since its establishment, Vietnam Fatherland Front has confirmed its role in gathering and uniting all strata people into a powerful force to build and protect the Fatherland.

In the past years, the Fatherland Front at all levels and organizations have launched and deployed the patriotic emulation movements and big campaigns such as " All people unite to build new-style rural and civilized urban areas, " Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese products", "Day for the poor" ... contributing to the improvement of the people's life. Over the two years (2017 - 2018), total provincial fund resource of “Fund for the poor" was nearly VND 50 billion. Money from the fund has been used to build 1,136 solidarity houses, present scholarships and gifts for poor households, poor children and policy beneficiaries…

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat congratulated the results of Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in the province. At the same time, he also highly appreciated the Heads’ contributions of the Fatherland Front Committee and the teachers for the cause of the great national unity, the new rural construction, urban civilization, the programs of the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels; promoting the good teaching and good studying to train high-quality human resources, contributing to implementing the objective of making Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city by 2022.

On this occasion, Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee awarded the commemorative medal for “The cause of the great national unity" to 113 individuals having great contributions to the cause of the great national unity. 40 heads of the Front Work Committee received Compliment letter by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Phoenix International Travel Development Cp., Ltd presented 40 gifts worth VND 3 million each to the typical head of the Front Work Committee; 40 teachers having difficult circumstances in the province also received savings-passbook worth VND10 million each.
