Provincial leaders receive and work with Heads of Vietnamese representative offices abroad
(BNP) - On December 16, a delegation of Heads of Vietnamese representative offices abroad for the 2024-2027 term, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang, visited and worked in Bac Ninh province.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC), Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan warmly welcomed the delegation to visit and work in the province. At the same time, he briefed on the province’s recent outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, especially in 2024, with many indicators ranking among the top in the country such as: foreign investment attraction, State budget revenue, industrial production value, per capita income, etc. In addition to economic development, Bac Ninh has always paid attention to education and training, taking care of people’s health, ensuring social security, protecting and promoting the traditional value of Quan Ho homeland.

According to the Bac Ninh Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, Bac Ninh will become a centrally-run city, a dynamic economic and cultural center of the Northern region; one of the development poles of the Red River Delta, closely connected to the capital Hanoi; with a synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure system. In the coming time, Bac Ninh province will focus on promoting the attraction of green investment, high-tech industry, supporting industry; high-tech agriculture, clean agriculture; high-end commercial service complexes; infrastructure investment projects, urban development, ecology, etc.
The Secretary hoped to continue receiving attention and support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors, and Heads of Vietnamese representative offices abroad in foreign affairs activities, especially in connecting, spreading, and promoting the image, traditional cultural values, and attractive investment environment of Bac Ninh province to the world. Especially, with diplomatic prestige, they will help Bac Ninh province promote and lobby UNESCO to consider “Dong Ho folk painting craft” to be included in the List of intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection of humanity in the near future.

The delegation discussed and requested the provincial leaders to provide and clarify the province’s policies and guidelines on investment attraction in the application of high technology, new technology, energy conversion; building infrastructure, new modern urban areas; expanding export markets; training high-quality human resources for the locality; preserving and maintaining Quan Ho culture and traditional cultural beauty; cultural diplomacy, people’s diplomacy; cooperation with non-governmental organizations, and so on.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang sincerely thanked the provincial leaders for their warm and friendly welcome. She congratulated and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, foreign affairs activities. She was impressed by the rich historical and cultural traditions of Bac Ninh province, contributing positively to the country’s overall development.
