Secretary Dao Hong Lan receives Singaporean Ambassador to Vietnam
(BNP) – In the morning of January 18, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Dao Hong Lan received and worked with Mr. Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to Vietnam.

Participants at the meeting were Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang and leaders of relevant departments, agencies and sectors.
Expressing her thanks to Mr. Jaya Ratnam for spending his time to visit and research the investment environment in Bac Ninh, Lan briefed on the outstanding achievements of the province’s socio-economic development recently, emphasizing the existence of 16 integrated industrial parks and the attraction of more than 1,700 FDI projects up to now.
Secretary Lan hoped that the Ambassador would introduce Singaporean businesses to invest in Bac Ninh, especially in the fields such as high-tech industry, supporting industry, environment and energy saving, education and training, logistics service, as well as share experiences and support the province in developing innovation center, smart city, digital transformation, 4.0 technology and so on.
For his part, the Ambassador congratulated the province’s outstanding achievements. He also affirmed that Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular are friends of close friendship with Singapore.
In the coming time, he hoped to hold an online conference on investment promotion to enable Singaporean businesses understand about the environment and investment opportunities in Bac Ninh, as well as accelerate a project between Singapore and Bac Ninh province to celebrate the 15th anniversary of VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore.
