It is French crossbred pigeons imported pursuant to the project “breeding and dropping the pigeons at the public places in Bac Ninh city” of Hoa Binh Pigeons Branch (under Provincial Ornamental Creatures Association). Accordingly, there will be 04 places for breeding and dropping the pigeons in the whole city, of which 02 places, Ly Thai To King statue – Provincial Museum and Monument of the Heroic Martyrs – Cultural Center for Children, have carried out the pilot activity with 300 pigeons since January 2018.

So many local residents and visitors to Bac Ninh are entertained with the pigeons flying and hovering at the area of Ly Thai To statue in their interests and curiosity. If offering these pigeons food, anyone can be easy to take photo and record video with them. Particularly, some couples do not hesitate to take the very beautiful and peaceful wedding photos with pigeons. Youngers are suggested to join hands to protect, and avoid the infringement actions these pigeons for the development of the unique cultural activity.

A local person spoke that he and his family always do exercise at the area of Ly Thai To king statue and have felt very excited to see the image of hundreds of pigeons flying and hovering surrounding for recent a haft of month, which made a peaceful beauty right in the heart of the city. Not only local people but also the visitors calling on this area have been very impressive with such the pigeons symbolizing peace, he added.

Breeding and dropping the pigeons have played a significant role and created an impression in the city’s center that demonstrates a diversity ecosystem and friendliness to visitors calling on Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac cultural city.
