Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai attends opening of Sports Festival for Social Policy Bank Region II

Attending the Sports Festival were Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Duong Quyet Thang, General Director of Vietnam Bank for Social Policy; representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches.

Speaking at the Sports Festival, Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai emphasized that over the past 20 years, the social policy credit implemented by the Vietnam Bank for Social Policy has contributed to the effective implementation of guidelines and policies of the Party and State on poverty reduction and social security assurance. Especially, in the context of difficulties and challenges of the current economy, social policy credit is a bright spot and one of the pillars in our country's poverty reduction policy system.

Mr. Khai ugred that the Provincial Social Policy Bank to work with relevant departments and branches to do a good job of organizing and creating all favorable conditions for delegates and athletes staying in Bac Ninh to be well and safely served, contributing to the overall success of the Sports Festival.

The sports festival had the participation of nearly 500 officials from the Head Office of Vietnam Bank for Social Policy and other provinces and cities in the region, including: Hanoi, Bac Giang, Lang Son, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh and Bac Ninh. Athletes competed in 23 events, 280 matches in 7 subjects: badminton, table tennis, tennis, chess, tug of war, women's volleyball and football.

The sports festival aims to create a competitive atmosphere, successfully complete professional tasks and maintain the sports movement, encourage the spirit of training to improve health, improve physical strength and intelligence, and contribute to building a healthy spiritual and cultural life.

The sports festival will be held for 3 days, from June 30 to July 2, 2023. At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee will award prizes to the whole team and prizes in the competition contents.
