Vietnamese Poetry Day of Bac Ninh province in 2025 – “Fatherland flies up” takes place

Many artists and poetry lovers in the province attend Poetry Day.

Attending the event were leaders of the provincial departments, the Political Officer School (Ministry of National Defense), and many artists and poetry lovers in the province.

Vietnamese Poetry Day 2025 has the theme “The Fatherland flies up”, inspired by the verse “The Fatherland flies up in the immense spring” in the work “Vietnam's posture” by poet and martyr Le Anh Xuan.

Taking place in the context of the whole country celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, towards the 50th anniversary of national reunification, the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, this year’s Vietnamese Poetry Day is an opportunity to inspire poetic creativity, awaken pride in the glorious history and the nation’s journey to build a strong country.

The program took place in 3 chapters with the following themes: cultural countryside, spring and aspiration, and the Fatherland takes flight. Artists and poetry lovers recited, read, and commented on immortal works of Vietnamese poetry, introducing many works praising the glorious Party, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, praising the homeland with the breath of the times by poets from Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac. Interspersed with poetry recitations, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and the Political Officer School coordinated to bring attractive performances, honoring the value and vitality of poetry.

Within the framework of the program, a discussion took place with the participation of writer Nguyen Khac Dam, poet Nguyen Nhu Hao and Lieutenant Colonel Phan Hong Thinh (Political Officer School).
