(BNP) - In order to improve facilities and ensure adequate conditions for teaching and learning, the Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 428/QD-UBND approving the investment plan for the expansion project of Nguyen Van Cu High School (Phu Khe Ward).

According to the Decision, the school's land area will be expanded by approximately 0.5 hectares; the expanded land area will be approximately 2.68 hectares. The 0.5-hectare expanded area will be leveled, the ground level raised by an additional 0.75m, and a fence approximately 220m long will be constructed in the expanded area. Simultaneously, the existing football field, the existing parking garage next to the field, the fence on the expanded area will be demolished, and some trees will be relocated...
A new 4-story classroom and library block will be constructed, comprising: 11 theoretical classrooms; The school includes 3 subject classrooms (Art, Music, and Technology); 1 library and 1 reading room for teachers, 1 reading room for students; 1 school counseling room; 1 educational equipment room; 2 teacher lounges and restrooms. The building area is approximately 840m2, with a total floor area of approximately 3500m2. It is fully equipped with desks, chairs, and teaching and learning equipment as per regulations.
In addition, a new 2-story bridge building with a length of 18.8m and a construction area of approximately 52m2 will be built. The 3-story administrative building with a total floor area of 993m2 will be renovated and repaired; a new artificial turf football field, volleyball court, basketball court, gymnasium, long jump area, landscaped grounds, and greenery will be constructed.

The project belongs to group C, with a total estimated investment of nearly VND88 billion from the provincial budget's public investment capital for the period 2026-2030. Project implementation time is from 2026 to 2028.
