(BNP) - On the morning of June 16th, Mr. Pham Van Thinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee works with Yangzhou University (China) to discuss investment trends, high-tech human resource needs, and opportunities for collaborative training.

During the meeting, Mr. Li Qingqiang, Vice President of the Institute of International Education, Yangzhou University (China), expressed his desire to promote cooperation programs in training high-quality human resources to directly serve the electronics, semiconductor, and high-tech industries of Bac Ninh province.
Yangzhou University representatives stated that Bac Ninh will have a significant need for top-notch human resources, particularly in the areas of semiconductors, automation, and engineering management, given the current rate of industrial development. In order to enhance teaching quality, facilitate student transfer, and offer comprehensive training, the university stated that it would like to increase collaboration with provincial educational institutions in training, scientific research, and the execution of the "Vietnam Yangjie Class" joint program.
Simultaneously, Yangzhou University pledged to offer suitable scholarships and tuition price assistance, establishing conducive environments for Bac Ninh students to learn, develop their abilities, and satisfy the superior human resource requirements of the province's industrial zones.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh welcomed the cooperation proposal from Yangzhou University, affirming that the Government-University-Enterprise linkage model is consistent with Bac Ninh's development orientation to become a leading center for microchip and semiconductor production in the region by 2030-2045.

The Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Education and Training to serve as the coordinating body; the province will establish a dedicated task force to facilitate the alignment of training programs between Yangzhou University and vocational and higher education institutions within the province. At the same time, the province encourages the implementation of short-term exchange programs for faculty and students and the development of a flexible pathway for transferring from community college to university.
Regarding admissions and scholarships, the Vice Chairman requested that Yangzhou University promptly submit official documents outlining support policies. MCC Co., Ltd. was designated as the coordinating entity with the university for information dissemination and application processing; it will also collaborate on organizing interviews and candidate selection through a combination of in-person and online methods to facilitate the process for students.

The Vice Chairman affirmed that Bac Ninh province is committed to closely directing relevant departments, branches and sectors to accompany and provide maximum support for the school to implement the cooperation project quickly, effectively and achieve the highest results.
