(BNP) - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), on the morning of January 26th, a delegation from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, led by Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, visited and presented Tet gifts to the Lang Giang War Invalids Rehabilitation Center and the Bac Ninh Provincial Center for the Rehabilitation of Meritorious People.

The Lang Giang War Invalids Rehabilitation Center (Tan Dinh commune), under the Department of War Invalids and Martyrs (Ministry of Interior), is currently responsible for the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of 32 severely wounded and disabled war veterans with a body injury rate of 81% or higher, from 10 provinces from Nghe An northward.

The Bac Ninh Provincial Center for the Rehabilitation of Meritorious People (Bac Giang Ward), under the Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Internal Affairs, currently provides care, treatment, and support for 12 severely wounded and disabled war veterans in Bac Ninh province. In addition, the Center annually organizes transportation for 4,000 to over 5,000 war veterans to receive centralized care at the Center and in other provinces, as per regulations.
Speaking at the places visited, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and those who contributed to the national liberation struggles and the defense of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 1, the Provincial Military Command, and local authorities presented meaningful Tet gifts to wounded and sick soldiers being cared for and treated at the two centers.
