Adjusting the Planning of Bac Ninh province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050
On August 19, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh signed Decision No. 637/QD-UBND approving the adjustment of the Planning of Bac Ninh province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The Decision takes effect from the date of signing.
The adjusted contents include: Adjusting the development orientation of Gia Binh International Airport's infrastructure from an area of 245 hectares to about 1,960 hectares; Adjusting the plan for developing the transport network; adding urban, industrial, service, golf course, dry port, inland waterway port, logistics, duty-free zone, educational and training facilities, etc. functions around the Airport area and along the route connecting Gia Binh Airport in Bac Ninh province with Hanoi capital and connecting with Hai Phong city, ensuring the needs and orientation of socio-economic development; Adjust and supplement according to the criteria of type I urban areas to upgrade communes in Bac Ninh province.
Establishing the Provincial Power Development Steering Committee in Bac Ninh province
On August 20, 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan signed Decision No. 643/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Steering Committee for Power Development in Bac Ninh Province. The Decision takes effect from the date of signing.
The Steering Committee for Power Development in Bac Ninh Province is headed by Mr. Pham Van Thinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The task of the Steering Committee is to direct, inspect, and urge the implementation of policies, development strategies, and solutions for power development to ensure safe, economical, stable, and reliable power supply to serve the socio-economic development needs of the province. Direct, inspect, urge, and remove difficulties and obstacles for investors in constructing power works (projects) according to the approved Power Development Plan in Bac Ninh province. Direct, inspect and urge the work of ensuring electricity supply for the development of rural and mountainous areas in the area to complete the goals of new rural construction, focusing on meeting the demand for load development for specialized areas, concentrated livestock areas, community tourism areas (spots); improve the quality of operations of rural electricity business organizations to ensure electricity supply for the locality. Inspect, monitor, prevent and handle according to regulations violations of the law on electricity development and electrical safety, economical and efficient use of energy in the province. Organize propaganda and dissemination of laws on electricity development, protection of high-voltage grid safety corridors, safe and economical use of electricity.
Establishment of the Point of Receiving and Returning Results of Administrative Procedures
On August 29, 2025, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son signed Decision No. 784/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Point of Receiving and Returning Results of Administrative Procedures of the Bac Ninh Provincial Public Administration Service Center. The Decision takes effect from the date of signing.
Establishment of the Point of Receiving and Returning Results of Administrative Procedures under the Bac Ninh Provincial Public Administration Service Center, operating from October 1, 2025. Location at Kinh Duong Vuong Street, Kinh Bac Ward, Bac Ninh Province (Headquarters of the former Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission).
