(BNP) - On the morning of November 23, at the Lua Quarter Cultural House, the Que Vo Ward Public Service Center (Bac Ninh Province) coordinated with the Ward Women's Union to organize the opening ceremony of the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Singing Class in 2025.

Currently, Que Vo ward has 05 Quan Ho villages including: Guot residential group, Danh residential group, Dinh residential group, Dong residential group, and residential group 4. Opening Quan Ho singing classes not only contributes to preserving, maintaining and promoting precious traditional cultural values, but also provides a playground for people of all walks of life in the ward to exchange, learn and spread the love of Quan Ho in contemporary life.

In the class, students listened to Master Chu Phuong Anh, Center for Culture and Tourism Promotion of Bac Ninh province, teach some Quan Ho melodies and techniques in Quan Ho folk singing including: Quan Ho singing styles, singing stages and Quan Ho song repertoire; learn Quan Ho singing techniques such as echo, rumble, background, bounce... learn how to sing ancient Quan Ho duet, understand the importance of preserving the ancient repertoire of Quan Ho folk songs. At the end of the course, students who meet the requirements will be awarded a certificate by the Organizing Committee.
The singing class is organized with the aim of helping students better understand the origin, meaning, and artistic characteristics of Quan Ho Bac Ninh, at the same time, equipping students with basic knowledge and skills in performing Quan Ho folk songs, thereby contributing to building, preserving and developing the Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk song singing movement in the ward.
