Art performance with the theme of “Arrive in two heritage lands”

In the evening of December 22nd, at Cao Van Lau Theater (in Bac Lieu city), People's Committee of Bac Ninh and Bac Lieu provinces co-organized the art program themed "Arrive in two heritage lands". Attending the program were the Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly Deputies of Bac Ninh province; Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee; Standing members of Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of the two provinces.

In the opening remarks, Mrs. Lam Thi Sang, Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that Bac Lieu and Bac Ninh provinces are located in two opposing regions of the country, owning different customs, but having similarities in history, culture, and traditions. The two provinces are known for the quintessential, unique values of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs and the art of Don ca tai tu. Through the process of formation and development, these two art forms have reached the peak of poetry and music art, contributing to enriching the treasure of Vietnamese national identity. Art program with the theme of "Arrive in two heritage lands" aims to introduce the basic features of historical, cultural traditions of the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Lieu and the elite values of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs and Southern Don ca tai tu.

The art program proves the fruitful cooperation, exchanges, solidarity of the Party Committees, authorities and people in the cause of building and developing Bac Ninh and Bac Lieu homelands. At the same time, it is such a very great opportunity that the two provinces continue to introduce and promote typical cultural quintessence, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the unique cultural heritage of the nation.

Thanks to very creative and artistic language, the art program "Arrive in two heritage lands" is designed carefully and interspersed between artistic content and social-cultural highlights that recreate a Bac Ninh and a Bac Lieu with similarities in the culture, history and revolutionary traditions that has left a deep impression in the strata of the people and audiences.

The delegates and the audiences enjoyed the artworks that went into people's hearts such as “Vui bốn mùa”, “Ba quan mời trầu”, “Nguyệt gác mái đình”, “Yêu một Bắc Ninh”, “Trăm năm Dạ cổ hoài lang”, “Chuyện con tôm - cây lúa”, “Liên khúc Về Thiên Thai”, “Hai miền di sản”, “Chuông vàng gác cửa tam quan”, “Âm sắc Bạc Liêu”, hòa tấu “Cung đàn tứ tuyệt”, “Đào nguyên”, “Gửi về Quan họ”, “Âm sắc Bạc Liêu” performed by artists of  Cao Van Lau Theater and Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk theater.
