Bac Ninh ranks 3rd in classical wrestling content at National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Championship

Bac Ninh delegation ranks 3rd in the classical wrestling content at the Tournament.

The tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 24 provinces, cities and sectors to compete in the following content: men's and women's freestyle wrestling; men's and women's classical wrestling.

Bac Ninh delegation sent 20 athletes to compete in women's freestyle wrestling, men's classical wrestling and women's classical wrestling. As a result, Bac Ninh delegation won 13 medals of all kinds including: 4 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals, 7 Bronze Medals (ranked 3rd in the classical wrestling content). Among them, 4 Gold Medals belonged to athletes: Nguyen Trong Nam, men's classical wrestling, weight class 50kg; Ngo Xuan Muoi, men's classical wrestling, weight class 55kg; Tran Thi Anh, women's classical wrestling, weight class 59kg and Nguyen Van Bao, men's classical wrestling, weight class 130kg.
