Bac Ninh secretary receives and works with LS ELECTRIC Group (Korea)

(BNP) - On October 26, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Nguyen Anh Tuan received and worked with Mr. Koo Ja Kyun, Chairman of the Group LS ELECTRIC (Korea).

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ngo Tan Phuong and leaders of relevant departments and sectors also attended the meeting.

Tuan congratulated the Group on inaugurating and putting into operation a high-tech and green technology factory in Bac Ninh. At the same time, he believed that the factory will be a model in attracting green technology investment projects in Bac Ninh province in particular and Vietnam in general in the coming time, bringing many new opportunities for the Group as well as the the locality in the future.

Thanks to a favorable geopolitical position, attractive preferential policies, and an open business environment, up to now, Bac Ninh becomes a fast and sustainable developing province with many leading socio-economic indicators in the country. The province now has 16 industrial parks, attracting many large projects of 39 countries and territories with a total investment of nearly USD 23 billion, Tuan added.

In the coming time, the Secretary wished that the Chairman of LS ELECTRIC Group will continue to pay attention, research, expand and develop production in Bac Ninh, especially in the field of energy battery production. Bac Ninh province is committed to creating all the most favorable conditions for the Group.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Koo Ja Kyun thanked for the attention of Bac Ninh provincial leaders in facilitating and supporting procedures for the LS ELECTRIC Vietnam factory in the Yen Phong industrial park for expansion to quickly complete and put into operation. At the same time, he highly appreciated Bac Ninh as a dynamic and developing province, especially FDI attraction.

Koo Ja Kyun also said that LS ELECTRIC now has a plan to expand its influence in the Vietnamese and global markets in in providing customers with green, eco-friendly innovations of the highest quality. Therefore, he hoped that Bac Ninh province will continue to support the Group, making it become the leading unit of smart factories in the field of high technology.

On this occasion, LS ELECTRIC Group donated VND 200 million to the Bac Ninh Provincial Study Promotion Fund.
