Bac Ninh wins 10 medals at 2023 Southeast Asian Wrestling Championships

(BNP) - The Southeast Asian Wrestling Championship takes place from December 4–10, 2023, in Cambodia.

Bac Ninh wrestling team participates in the Southeast Asian Wrestling Championship.

The tournament attracted more than 500 athletes from 7 countries in the region to compete in three age groups: U17, U20, and team championships.

The Vietnamese wrestling team participated in the tournament with 62 athletes, competing in all categories. At the end, in the U17 age group, the Vietnamese team won 19 gold medals; the U20 age group won 27 gold medals; and in the championship group, the Vietnamese team won 26 gold medals, thereby ranking first in the entire group.

At this tournament, the Bac Ninh wrestling team had 10 athletes and won 10 medals, including 2 gold medals in the U17 age group, 5 gold medals in the U20 age group, and 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the category of team championships.
