Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang attends Viet Nam-Tochigi Business Forum in Japan
(BNP) – Within the framework of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to Japan, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang on November 23rd attended the Viet Nam-Tochigi Business Forum in Japan and gave a speech to call for investment from businesses in Tochigi province.

With the theme “Opportunities for business exchanges and connections”, the forum was jointly organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Viet Nam, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the Tochigi Prefecture authorities under the chair of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The Forum attracted the participation of some provinces and cities such as Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen.
Speaking at the Forum, Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang shared Bac Ninh province’s potential and advantages, especially the strength of infrastructure of Industrial Parks, investment incentive policies, a series of large-scale projects invested by famous domestic and international enterprises in Bac Ninh province…
Giang affirmed that Bac Ninh is currently one of the leading provinces in Vietnam in terms of foreign direct investment attraction. As of November 16, 2021, the province has issued investment registration certificates for 1,698 valid FDI projects with a total adjusted investment capital of USD 20.4 billion from 38 countries and territories. Japan ranked second (after Korea) in terms of investment capital with 96 projects and a total registered investment capital of USD 1.55 billion mostly in the field of manufacturing electronic components, mechanical manufacturing such as Canon, Seiki, Hanacans, Nippon Zoki, Nitto, Foster Electric, Toyo ink, Sumitomo, Fujikin, Tenma, THK....
With the motto "Bac Ninh always accompanies businesses, the success of enterprises is also the success of the province", Bac Ninh province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises in production and business, contributing to further tightening the good relationship between Bac Ninh and Japan.
In the coming time, the province will actively promote local cooperation to attract more Japanese enterprises to invest in Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular in the joint effort to closely and deeply strengthen extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia between Vietnam and Japan.
On the other hand, she called for the Japanese businesses to build Industrial Parks exclusively for Japanese investors according to Japanese criteria as well as smart city urban in the form of Japan’s model in Bac Ninh.
