Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang checks progress of International Friendship Park project

Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang inspects the design of the International Friendship Park project.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Bac Ninh City Party Committee and leader of Bac Ninh City.

Started from November 2019, covering an area of 2.2 hectares with a total investment of over VND 53 billion, Bac Ninh IFP project consisted of technical infrastructure system, parking, fountains, public toilets, parks, trees and squares - grounds showing 85 symbols of companies and FDI capital in Bac Ninh province.

Up to now, the project has completed 70% of the construction work. Construction units are accelerating the progress, ensuring technical and fine arts as well as continue to deploy the construction of countries and territories’ symbols. It is expected that the project will be completed in August 2020.

Directly checking the project, Ms. Giang highly appreciated the close direction of Bac Ninh city, and emphasized that this is not only a work to celebrate the 20th Provincial Party Congress (term2020 - 2025) but also meant the exchange of community culture between foreigners and people of all strata in the province, and is the symbolic work of integration and development of Bac Ninh province with international friends.

She asked construction units to speed up the progress and ensure the quality and aesthetics of the project so that when put into use, it will connect with Ho Dieu Hoa park, Nguyen Van Cu park in order to create a public space - urban landscape, green lung of the city.

For the display of symbols of States and territories in the park, the Chairwoman assigned Bac Ninh City People’s Committee to select the symbols of each country as well as conduct 3D printing hanging at the park to get the opinion of the people before building the logo.
