Engineer Brigade 229 visits and extends Tet greetings in Bac Ninh province

On behalf of staff and soldiers of Engineer Brigade 229, Brigadier Nguyen Van Coc delivered warm Tet greetings to the leaders and people of Bac Ninh province on the Lunar New Year and wished that Bac Ninh province would continue to unite, obtain more achievements in implementing socio-economic development tasks, maintaining political stability and security, national defense. Besides, the Brigadier hoped Bac Ninh’s leaders to keep creating favorable conditions for Engineer Brigade 229 and military units based in the area to complete the assigned political tasks.

Expressing the gratitude to the staff and soldiers of Engineer Brigade 229, the provincial leaders briefed the delegation on the situation of socio-economic development of the province in recent years. After more than 20 years of re-establishment, from a purely agricultural province, Bac Ninh has been among the fastest-growing localities with many leading targets across the country. These results are thanks to the efforts of the whole Party, government and people of Bac Ninh province, especially a great contribution of Engineer Brigade 229 and military units located in the area.

Bac Ninh’s leaders hoped, in the coming time, Brigade 229 would continue to coordinate closely with the province to successfully implement the tasks, striving to build Bac Ninh province into a centrally-run city in 2022.
