Hitachi Energy Transformer Factory inaugurates

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies sent flower basket for congratulation.

Mrs. Ann Mawe, Ambassador of Sweden to Vietnam; representatives from the Ministry of Planning and Investment as well as leaders of relevant departments and sectors also attended the ceremony.

Hitachi Energy is a global leader in transformers, offering varied types of transformers up to 1,200 kV. With 15 years of operation in Bac Ninh, Hitachi Energy has continuously developed and expanded. Up to now, it has increased its total registered investment capital for the project to more than USD 90 million.

Among them, the project of the Hitachi Energy Transformer Factory has a total investment of nearly USD 50 million. It creates jobs for 500 laborers with advanced equipment and meets international standards of technology and quality. The factory specializes in manufacturing oil-immersed transformers, and provides all types of transmission transformers, transformers distribution, and industrial transformers to many different fields.

The factory’s official operation will be an effective support arm for electricity and industry sectors as well as infrastructure across the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa in enhancing the performance of transformer equipment and minimizing the impact on the environment.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Khai acknowledged and highly appreciated Hitachi Energy’s efforts and achievements in recent years. At the same time, he thanked the Company for trusting and selecting Bac Ninh to invest in and expand its investment in the province.

Khai highlighted that with the goal of building an authority that assists and serves people and enterprises, the provincial leaders always accompany and support enterprises and consider their success as the province’s success as well as regard them as an important factor in creating the province’s sustainable development. At the same time, he committed that all levels, sectors and localities would always help and create the most favorable conditions for the Company’s production and business processes.

He also believed that Hitachi Energy would continue to operate successfully, expand investment and accompany Bac Ninh province’s development in the upcoming time.
