More than 400 athletes participate in Second Provincial Middle Aged and Elderly Dance Tournament

(BNP) – On October 22, the Representative Board of the Provincial Association of the Elderly organized the Second Bac Ninh Provincial Middle Aged and Elderly Dance Exchange Tournament in 2023 at the Provincial multi-purpose gymnasium.


The leaders award souvenir flags to the delegations participating in the tournament.

The tournament attracted the participation of more than 400 athletes from districts, towns, cities and Provincial Elderly Club. They competed in the following contents: Folk dance; group dance; partner dance in age groups of 40-45, 46-55 and 56 years and older with dances such as Chacha, Waltz, Tango, Rumba...

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will award the Gold Cup in the group competition; Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals and Certificates to the couples in age groups of 40-45, 46-55 and 56 years and older. In addition, some extra prizes will be awarded to the best athletes.

The tournament aims to encourage the health exercise movement following the example of great Uncle Ho. At the same time, it creates a useful playground for the elderly to exchange and learn about dance between clubs and localities in the province.
