My Thon communal house
(BNP) - My Thon communal house (My Thon village, Xuan Lai commune, Gia Binh district) was built in the Le Trung Hung period with a large scale, decorated with sophisticated carvings. The communal house worships 3 village's tutelary god: Cuong Bao Dai Vuong, who was instrumental in helping the 6th Hung King fight the An enemy, and two angels Bao Huu Do Thien and Uy Hien Thac Phu.
The communal house has the architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter.

Currently, the communal house has the architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter, including the Great Communal Hall and Emperor’s Harem. The wooden frame is decorated with stylized flowers and leaves.

According to the elderly in the village, in the past, My Thon communal house festival was very big, lasting from the 8th to the 18th of November (lunar calendar) every year. Today, due to socio-economic conditions and the implementation of a new cultural lifestyle, My Thon communal house festival has been shortened to 2 days, on the 11th and 12th of November lunar month.
My Thon communal house has been ranked as a provincial historical-cultural relic according to Decision No. 12/QD-UBND dated March 1, 2012.
