Nghiem Thon communal house - Cultural and historical relic

(BNP) –Nghiem Thon communal house in Nghiem Thon village, Pho Moi township, Que Vo district, was built in the Le Dynasty. Over time, the communal house has been embellished many times.

Based on two stone steles of Nghiem Thon communal house with the name "Hau Than bi Ky" in 1769 and 1770 with the content saying: In the reign of Le Trung Hung, during the reign of King Le Hien Tong, there was Nghiem Thon communal house. This place worships Saint Nguyen Tam Giang.

The communal house has an architectural plan of Chines “Dinh” letter, including the Great Communal Hall and the Emperor’s Harem. Great communal hall with 3 compartments 2 lean-tons, 4 curved roofs.


 

In the communal house, a number of precious documents and artifacts are preserved, such as: 03 stone steles named "Hau Than Bi Ky" 1769, 1770, 1917; thrones, tablets, horizontal lacquered board, couplets ..., reflecting on the history and culture of the locality, the country through the periods.

Communal house is a cultural and religious work of the local people, which was built to worship the Second Thanh Hoang, who had a good reputation and fought the An enemy to protect the country. Traditional festivals have attracted a large number of local people to their roots.


Degree of provincial-level relic ranking.

Nghiem Thon communal house festival takes place on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month every year. The communal house is ranked as a provincial-level historical-cultural relic in Decision No. 934/QD-UBND dated August 4, 2011.
