Press conference to announce the International Women's Volleyball Championships - LienVietPostBank Cup in 2019

With the desire to make a playground for national teams to exchange experiences with international teams, since 2011, LienVietPostBank has co-operated with Vietnam Volleyball Federation to organize six International Women's Volleyball Championships - LienVietPostBank Cup in Bac Ninh province.

The International Women's Volleyball Championship - LienVietPostBank Cup this year will be taken place from February 22 to March 1, 2019, at Bac Ninh Multi-purpose Hall. The tournament has the participation of 08 teams, including 04 domestic teams namely Kinh Bac - Bac Ninh, LienVietPostBank, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Tien Nong Thanh Hoa and 04 international teams including Fujian (China), Shanghai Fudan (China), U23 Kazakhstan and DPR Korea. After the draw, Group A consists of LienVietPostBank, Fujian (China), Tien Nong Thanh Hoa, U23 Kazakhstan; Group B includes VTV Binh Dien Long An, Shanghai Fudan (China), Kinh Bac - Bac Ninh and PDR Korea.

So far, the preparation of facilities, accommodation, training grounds for teams,... has been basically completed, ensuring the best conditions for the athletes to compete to achieve high results. Besides, Bac Ninh province coordinated with the news agencies, newspapers to promote the propaganda to attract a large number of people to watch and cheer for the teams. The Organizing Committee also added all matches of the tournament would broadcast live on ThethaoTV and Bac Ninh Radio and Television Station.

The International Cup Women's Volleyball Championship – LienVietPostBank Cup in 2019 held in Bac Ninh is an activity in the series of Festival "Arrive in Quan ho land in 2019" and 10^th anniversary of Bac Ninh’s Quan Ho Folk Songs honored by UNESCO as a Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is also an opportunity for Bac Ninh to strengthen the introduction and promotion of economic, cultural, sports, tourism potentials and socio-economic development achievements of the province to domestic and international friends and visitors./.
