(BNP) - Typhoon No. 3 (Typhoon Yagi) made landfall and dumped heavy rain in the northern region before weakening into a tropical depression in the northwest. It is forecasted that the Northern provinces will still have heavy rain after the storm.


Functional forces clean up after the storm.

To ensure safety, people pay attention to the following recommendations:

1. Monitor the development of rain and floods after storms to proactively respond.

2. Promptly evacuate people in areas that are deeply flooded, at risk of flash floods and landslides.

3. Re-check the electrical system and equipment before use; pay attention to trees and billboards that have been tilted and fallen by stormy winds when circulating on the road.

4. Remediation and repair of houses, electricity, water supply and information systems.

5. Urgently overcome consequences, stabilize life, and restore production.

6. Participate in cleaning, repairing infrastructure, preventing and fighting epidemics and environmental treatment.

7. Collect damage statistics and report promptly and accurately to local authorities.

8. Comply with the instructions of the authorities.
