Retail sales of goods and services increases sharply in January
(BNP) - According to Department of Statistics, in January, the retail sales of goods and services was estimated at VND 6,763 billion, up 3.6% over previous month and 12.3% against same month last year.

In terms of activity, retail sales of goods was estimated at VND 5,236 billion, up 4% over the previous month and 9.6% over the same period last year.
Revenue from accommodation and catering services was estimated at VND 553 billion, up 4.9% over the previous month and 32.2% over the same period last year.
Travel tourism revenue was estimated at VND 0.8 billion, decreasing 3.5% compared with the previous month while sharply decreasing (-51.9%) compared to the same month last year due to the influence of Covid-19 epidemic.
Service revenue was estimated at VND 973 billion, up 0.5% over the previous month and 17.8% over the same period last year.
