Secretary Dao Hong Lan receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Korea in Vietnam

Participants at the meeting were Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan and leaders of relevant departments and sectors.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Dao Hong Lan briefed on the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the province to the Ambassador. She affirmed that Bac Ninh, with the right policies and measures taken by the Party, the State, the Government, and the unanimous support of the entire people, has initially succeeded in controlling epidemics without interrupting production. Besides, a large amount of vaccines have been given to workers in industrial parks in the province.

On the other hand, the province and the Ministry of Health jointly evaluated the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic and removed the medical isolation zone to reduce the level of social distance for some localities, Lan said.

Ambassador Park Noh-wan highly valued the close guidance of Bac Ninh’s leaders in fighting against the Covid-19 epidemic. He also thanked for the attention of the provincial leader, sectors and localities to workers as well as Korean enterprises in the province.

In the coming time, the Ambassador hoped that Bac Ninh province would soon repel the Covid-19 epidemic.
