Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan visits and congratulates Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace

(BNP) – Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly Deputies visited and congratulated the Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace on the occasion of Bishop Hoang Van Dat's mission ending and Bishop Do Quang Khang's mission beginning.

Joining the delegation were Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Standing Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Colonel Bui Duy Hung, Director of Provincial Public Security; leaders of a number of related departments, branches and sectors.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan offered flowers for congratulation to  Bishop Do Quang Khang on his official appointment as Bishop of the Bac Ninh Diocese.

Tuan also sent his best wishes on the occasion of the Bac Ninh Bishop's Palace holding the Thanksgiving Mass, which marked the end of Bishop Hoang Van Dat's mission and the beginning of Bishop Do Quang Khang's mission. At the same time, he stated that Party committees, authorities, and mass organizations are always concerned with establishing all favorable conditions for religious activities and activities that are in the proper path and in compliance with the law. He hoped that in his new role, Bishop Do Quang Khang would fulfill his important responsibilities, such as guiding parishioners in religious activities, adhering to the provisions of the law and local regulations, promoting the tradition of solidarity, effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, and living the Gospel.

On this occasion, the Secretary expressed his gratitude to Bishop Hoang Van Dat, who concluded his crucial work as Bishop of the Diocese after 15 years with unique contributions to the province's socioeconomic development process. He hoped that he would continue to receive donations from Bishop Hoang Van Dat for the growth of the country, the cause of great national unity, and the homeland of Bac Ninh in the future.

For his part, Bishop Do Quang Khang thanked for the attention of the provincial leaders, emphasizing that this is a significant honor for individuals and parishioners in the Diocese. As a bishop, he will work with local authorities to promote and guide parishioners to live a "good life and good religion," to do their civic duties well, and to engage fully. At the same time, he expressed his hope to receive the attention and support of Party committees and authorities at all levels in order to successfully fulfill the mission and bring many benefits to the laity and society.
