Trade promotion, supply-demand connection and second fair opens
(BNP) - On the afternoon of December 13, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance held a conference on trade promotion, supply and demand connection and opened the second fair in 2024.

Attending the conference were Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van, Secretary of the Designated Representation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The province now has 957 collective economic organizations, including 259 agricultural service cooperatives; 278 specialized agricultural cooperatives; 128 non-agricultural cooperatives and 26 People's Credit Funds. In 2024, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance coordinated with departments and branches in the province to select and support more than 20 cooperatives to participate in trade promotion programs and fairs organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and the provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Thai Binh, etc. Bac Ninh currently has 65 cooperatives participating in product consumption linkages as well as 71 agricultural cooperatives applying high technology.
At the Conference, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance organized an assessment of the collective economic and cooperative activities of the province in 2024; discussed and exchanged between cooperatives, distribution enterprises and consumer representatives as a basis for cooperation; signed contracts for production and consumption linkage between cooperatives and between the Cooperative Alliance of provinces and cities; provided information on products and goods for organizations, individuals and cooperatives in need of connection; and organized the opening of the second fair in 2024 with 30 booths displaying typical products, OCOP, specialties... of cooperatives in and outside the province.
This is an opportunity for cooperatives to exchange and seek partners in developing production and business; introduce high-quality products; promote cooperatives to improve product quality, competitiveness, improve designs and build brands; help authorities in understanding market information, difficulties and problems of cooperatives.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Le Xuan expressed his appreciation for the conference on connecting supply and demand and the Provincial Cooperative Alliance’s consulting, support and trade promotion activities implemented, which have actively contributed to the development of the collective economy and cooperatives of the province.
In the coming time, the Vice Chairman requested the Provincial Cooperative Alliance and units in the Red River Delta region to organize trade promotion activities and propose many solutions to better connect production and product consumption.
