Transport infrastructure system to be developed

At present, Bac Ninh's transport infrastructure is considered as one of the most modern provinces in the Northern Delta region. The province has nearly 7,000km of roads of all kinds including 4 national highways with the length of nearly 200km, 14 provincial roads (about 260 km) and more than 6,500 km of urban roads, district roads, rural roads.

Bac Ninh also builds many bridges to create a new driving force, especially Ho bridge; Binh Than bridge linking National Highway 17 (Provincial Highway 282 upgraded) with Highway 18; Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh Bridge combined with Provincial Road 287 and Highway 17.

In May 2020, Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces cooperated and built two more bridges over Cau River in the coming time, namely Cau Overpass and the road connecting Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province with Tay Bac urban area, Bac Ninh city.
