Tu Son receives National Monument Ranking Certificate of Tomb of Dam Viet Kinh
(BNP) - On August 27, the People's Committee of Tu Son city solemnly held a ceremony to receive the National Monument Ranking Certificate of Dam Viet Kinh Tomb.
Provincial leaders, former provincial leaders present flowers to congratulate Tu Son city.
Participants at the event were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Dam Viet Kinh Tomb, Kim Bang quarter, Huong Mac ward, Tu Son City was built in Le Trung Hung's reign (18th century), worshiping Mr. Dam Viet Kinh and his wife. He worked as an official in the Le dynasty and was conferred the title Tai Tho Hau. When he retired, he made many great contributions to the villagers.
Dam Viet Kinh Tomb relic was ranked by the Provincial People's Committee in 2006. In order to preserve and promote the value of the relic, the Dam Dinh clan and authorities at all levels have made a scientific dossier and proposed to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to rank it as the national level. After a period of implementation, on June 29, 2021, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 1986 on the ranking of the national monument of Dam Viet Kinh Tomb.
The event is an important legal basis, showing the State's recognition of its historical, cultural, scientific and aesthetic values of monuments. At the same time, it also creates a legal basis for preserving and promoting the value of long-term relics, contributing to fostering the love of homeland and country for generations of people, especially the tradition of the Dam Dinh clan in Kim Bang quarter, Huong Mac ward.
Immediately after the ceremony, the Dam clan held a procession of the certificate of national relic ranking from the center of Tu Son city to Dam Viet Kinh Tomb, Kim Bang quarter, Huong Mac ward.
