Dr. Nguyen Duong Ho was born in 1657 and was a student of Nguyen Xuan Chinh, Dinh Suu exam in 1637. He finished seventh in the guild exam at the age of 27. He worked as an aide to “Hình bộ thượng thư” (Minister of Justice ). He died in 1740, at the age of 84.

The worshipping house has an architecture of Chinese “Nhat” letter.

The worshipping house was built in the eighteenth century. Following his death, the house was turned into a memorial and place of worship for him.

Due to unrest, the monument burned down for the first time in 1880. Then Nguyen Duong Hieu, the 12th generation, reconstructed it. The worshipping house was burned down for the second time in 1949, during the resistance battle against France. The worshipping house was rebuilt in 1950 and 1972, and it was totally restored to its current size in 2017.

The worshipping house is currently located in Phan hamlet, on the western side of the village. It is bounded by the monument's inter-village road and pond. Residential areas surround it. Dr. Nguyen Duong Ho's grave lies in the Ngo neighborhood, near the village's center.

Through the ups and downs of history, the worshipping house is still preserved and embellished by descendants of the family more and more spaciously and perfectly. On the anniversary of Nguyen Duong Ho's death, the family organized to reward the grandchildren of the family with high academic achievements.

The monument was ranked at the National level in 1990.
