(BNP) - After 3 months of implementation, the 2025 "Red Blood Drops - Summer" Campaign and the "Red Journey" Program in Bac Ninh province received over 11,600 units of safe blood.

The 2025 "Red Blood Drops - Summer" Campaign and the "Red Journey" Program in Bac Ninh province were implemented from June 1 to August 31, 2025, with the target of receiving about 12,900 units of blood, of which Bac Giang (old) 6,300 units, Bac Ninh (old) 6,600 units.
To implement the Program, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has actively coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and units to organize the Launching Ceremony, Blood Donation Festival, communication to raise public awareness and reward groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation, thereby ensuring a safe and continuous blood source for emergency care and patient treatment.
Within the framework of the 2025 "Red Blood Drops - Summer" Campaign and the "Red Journey" Program, Bac Ninh province has organized many meaningful and humane activities, contributing to strongly spreading the voluntary blood donation movement such as: Organizing incense offering ceremonies, visiting the Monument of the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs; organizing propaganda parades on central streets, creating a vibrant atmosphere, spreading the humanitarian spirit in the community; coordinating with the Investment and Development Bank to present gifts to 15 seriously ill patients being treated at the Provincial General Hospital, with a total value of VND 22.5 million...
At the end of the "Red Blood Drops - Summer" Campaign and the "Red Journey" Program in 2025, the whole province successfully organized 24 blood donation days in localities and units, attracting the enthusiastic participation of over 8,500 volunteers, receiving more than 11,600 units of safe blood, reaching 90.12% of the planned target.
