(BNP) - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 855/QD-UBND approving the investment policy and concurrently assigning Lam Son Construction and Trading Company Limited as the investor to implement the social housing area project at plot D-OXH-08 under Subdivision No. 4, Da Mai ward.

According to the Decision, the project is implemented on a land area of about 1.97 hectares. In which, the land area for social housing is about 18,174 square meters, accounting for 92.12% of the total land area; the land area for commercial housing is about 1,555 square meters, accounting for 7.9%.
The social housing area will feature 02 apartment buildings with 19 above-ground floors and 01 basement, with a total construction floor area of about 73,968 square meters. The project is expected to provide about 744 apartments with areas ranging from 25 square meters to 77 square meters, accommodating about 1,585 people. The basement is designed for parking, while the 1st to 19th floors accommodate residential apartments, public spaces, community activities, a kindergarten, and technical areas serving residents.
The commercial housing section consists of 18 low-rise terraced houses, built with raw structures and finished exteriors, with 06 above-ground floors and a total construction floor area of about 9,798 square meters, accommodating about 63 people.
The total population scale of the entire project is about 1,650 people. Upon completion, the project will provide about 744 social housing apartments for sale and 18 low-rise commercial terraced houses.
The project has an expected total investment of over 1,063.1 billion VND. According to the plan, the investor must complete land and construction procedures and commence construction within a maximum period of 12 months from the date of approval of the investment policy. The project must complete construction, undergo acceptance testing, and be put into use within a maximum period of 48 months.
The implementation of the project is expected to contribute to improving the urban infrastructure system of the Da Mai area, creating an additional supply of quality social housing, meeting the settlement needs of low-income earners and industrial park workers, while promoting socio-economic development and the urbanization process of Bac Ninh province./.
