(BNP) - In the first 6 months of 2026, Bac Ninh province attracted over USD 9.86 billion of equivalent investment capital, continuing to maintain a positive growth rate in both the number of projects and the scale of registered capital.
In the first 6 months of 2026, Bac Ninh province attracts nearly USD 10 billion of investment capital, continuing to maintain a positive growth rate in both the number of projects and the scale of registered capital.
Of which, the province granted 115 new domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of VND 174,677.4 billion and adjusted 55 projects with an additional capital of VND 15,762.4 billion. For foreign investment, the province granted 177 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of USD 708.76 million; adjusted 149 projects, total capital increased by USD 1,632.8 million.
With the above results, Bac Ninh is currently ranked 4th in the country in attracting FDI capital, after Thai Nguyen, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi City, continuing to affirm its position as one of the industrial centers and attractive investment destinations of the country.
An important highlight in the first 6 months of the year is that the province has 5 industrial parks with investment policies approved and investors approved, with a total registered capital of VND 8,000.2 billion (equivalent to USD 319.28 million). The addition of new industrial parks contributes to expanding the industrial land fund, creating space to attract large-scale, high-tech projects in the near future.
Accumulated up to now, the province has had 39 approved industrial parks with a total area of 11,629.5 hectares. The area of industrial land and administrative and service land that has been leased reaches about 4,363 hectares, with an occupancy rate of about 53.05%, creating an important foundation for modern and sustainable industrial development.
Along with attracting investment, supporting business development and startups continues to be promoted by the province. In the first 6 months of 2026, the whole province had 4,478 newly established enterprises with a total registered capital of VND 80,199 billion. In addition, there are 177 additional branches, representative offices and 1,717 business locations in operation, continuing to affirm the attractiveness of the investment and business environment and the dynamic development of the business community in the province./.
