Provincial Party Committee issues Plan to propagate and mobilize collection, submission and donation of documents, materials and artifacts to build Museum of Communist Party of Vietnam

(BNP) - The Provincial Party Committee has just signed and issued Plan No. 12-KH/TU on propaganda, mobilization, collection, submission, and donation of documents, materials, and artifacts to build the Museum of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the province.

The plan specifies the material and methods of implementing the collection campaign.  Specifically, the collection contains documents, materials, and artifacts related to the leadership and direction activities of the Party, the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Party Central Committee Secretariat, the Party's departments, branches, and agencies at the Central level through the periods; political and cultural strategies, guidelines, and Party regulations through the periods; documents of National Congresses from the 1st Congress (1935).

Films, photographs, books, and artifacts documenting the actions of Party leaders, key political events in the Party and country, and the activities of Party agencies and organizations from 1930 to the present.  Party flags, certificates of merit, certificates of honor, medals, and badges; party membership cards throughout history.  Parties, countries, and senior leaders of Parties and countries present gifts to Vietnam's Party, State, and senior leaders.  Documents, resources, and artifacts relating to the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, General Secretaries, major Party and State leaders, and exemplary senior leaders throughout history.

Drafts of speeches, articles, and letters sent by Uncle Ho to the Central, localities, and people from all walks of life; films, photos, domestic and international press documents about President Ho Chi Minh, particularly documents and artifacts from his time working abroad in France, Russia, China, and other countries.  Articles and speeches by cadres, soldiers, individuals, and communities.  Letters, congratulatory telegrams, directions, and autographs from Uncle Ho were sent to local groups and people.  Artifacts, documents, and personal possessions of significant leaders and exemplary predecessors related to Vietnamese revolution activities and historical events.  Artifacts and documentation regarding our Party's devoted and excellent members who participated in the revolutionary stages.

Promote propaganda and mobilization for document, material, and artifact collection in the media; provincial press agencies open special pages, columns, articles, reports, topics, and in-depth interviews with historical witnesses, veteran cadres, and experts to clarify the historical value and significance of document and artifact preservation.  Focus on propaganda on Electronic Information Portal of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, social networking platforms (Zalo, Facebook, ...) of departments, branches and localities. Organize conferences, seminars, scientific discussions to introduce historical documents and artifacts; inform reporters' conferences, in party and union activities. Launch donation and collection movements associated with patriotic emulation movements to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country and the province; organize reception and honor of organizations and individuals who have made positive contributions to donating and collecting valuable documents and artifacts.

The work of propagating, mobilizing the collection, submission, and donation of documents, materials, and artifacts about the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, comrades General Secretaries, key leaders of the Party and State, and typical senior leaders through the periods is divided into two stages:

Phase 1: From now until February 2030, relevant units will launch a campaign to collect, submit, and donate documents, materials, and artifacts commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which must be completed by August 19, 2025; collect and receive documents and artifacts from organizations and individuals until December 31, 2029; organize a summary, publish the campaign's outcomes, and deliver the items to the Party's Archives Department - Central Office by January 15, 2030.

Phase 2: The units continue to collaborate with Central authorities to prepare exhibitions and thematic displays at the Communist Party of Vietnam Museum showcasing documents and artifacts obtained from Bac Ninh province beginning in February 2030; mobilize and encourage cadres, party members, and residents of the province to donate, present, or purchase documents, materials, and artifacts about the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, comrades General Secretaries, key Party leaders, State officials, and typical senior leaders from various periods; regularly disseminate and promote the importance of historical documents, materials, photos, and objects from the Museum of the Communist Party of Vietnam in political and ideological education for cadres, party members, and citizens.
