13th "Singing of Luong Tai people's gratitude to Uncle Ho" Festival in 2024 opens
(BNP) - On the evening of May 14, the People's Committee of Luong Tai district held the opening ceremony of the 13th "Singing of Luong Tai people's gratitude to Uncle Ho" Festival (Festival) in 2024.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Do Dinh Huu, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Luong Tai District Party Committee, leaders of the district, departments, localities and a large number of people in the district.
The Festival is a traditional public art competition held periodically every 5 years and has become a big festival. This is also an opportunity for the people of Luong Tai to sing to Uncle Ho in praise of the Party, homeland and country, expressing gratitude and respect for President Ho Chi Minh.
This year's festival is organized in 4 clusters from May 14 to 17, attracting the participation of 20 units representing communes, towns, agencies, businesses, and schools. The delegation will show 120 performances with more than 3,000 actors and musicians who are civil servants, officials, armed forces soldiers, teachers, farmers, workers, and students in the district.
Through the Festival, agencies, units and localities continue to foster and develop cultural, artistic, creative and artistic movements.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, Cluster 1 including 05 communes: Minh Tan, My Huong, Lai Ha, Trung Kenh and An Thinh showed 30 performances with the theme: praising the glorious Party, the great Uncle Ho, and the renewed homeland.
The Festival in 2024 is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 25th anniversary of the re-establishment of Luong Tai district (September 1, 1999 - September 1, 2024).
At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee will select special performances to participate in the performance and awards program on the evening of May 19, 2024.
