Investing more than VND 116 billion to harden Nam canal

Accordingly, the project consists of the items including hardening of Nam irrigation canal, the section from K8+700 to K12+900 with a length of about 4,200m; expansion of the right bank to combine traffic with a length of about 4,200m.

The project is invested by the Agriculture and Rural Development Investment Construction Project Management Unit. The project’s implementation is from 2021 to 2024 with a total investment of more than VND 116 billion.

When the project is completed and put into use, it will ensure active irrigation for more than 4,800ha of cultivated area in Tien Du, Que Vo and Bac Ninh city districts as well as the beauty of the area, creating a connection between the industrial park and the residential area; improve the rural environment and people's quality of life, contributing to the socio-economic development in the locality.
