Thi Cau Taro Cakes

Thi Cau cakes is one of the traditional, native dishes of Thi Cau Ward, Bac Ninh City. Especially every Tet and spring comes, the favor of Thi Cau cakes offered perturbation to several Thi Cau people in particular and the in general customers enjoyed once.
Maining materials of Thi Cau cakes are Nep Cai Hoa Vang glutinous rice and taro, water of ablelmosk (abelmosk water permeating glutinous rice and making the cake soft, smooth); bulrush (it is considered as a medicine and also the secret of Thi Cau taro cake, it makes taro cakes slightly spongy, crispy and easily melted when eaten), rock sugar, white wine, (white wine will increase the hatch and create the delicious smell of taro cakes).
The circular cakes under the processing hands of Thi Cau people have a characteristic aroma that creates a warmth, reuniting with green tea teapots in the traditional Tet holidays. A beauty of culinary culture of the people here.
