Tourists to Bac Ninh increases 17%

(BNP) - Since the beginning of this year, Bac Ninh’s tourism has welcomed 781,000 tourists with total revenue of VND 620 billion with an increase of 17% and 19% in turn compared with same period of last year, respectively.

Promotional activities of tourism continue to be developed. In particular, the province organized information booth to advertise Bac Ninh’s cultural heritage and tourism at Mau Son Tourism Festival in 2017; participated in Ha Nam Handicraft Village - Cuisine Festival; disseminated information on the mass media and so on. Especially, the program of singing "Quan Ho folksong" on boat at Nguyen Phi Y Lan Lake has been organized and attracted thousands of audience to enjoy since August 2017.
 
Bac Ninh Tourism Promotion Center introduced diverse activities to visitors including exhibitions of Dong Ho folk painting; Phu Khe wood – carving village; famous specialty foods such as Hiep Anh wine, Ban soy sauce... the unique products of culture and cuisine of Kinh Bac people.

Bac Ninh tourism’s information is well implemented through brochures, Bac Ninh tour maps and routes. Particularly, the publication of Bac Ninh tourism - 15 impressive and attractive destinations published by Tourism Promotion Center helped usefully visitors in approaching best information about Bac Ninh’s land and people.
