Bac Ninh ranks 7th in country in PCI 2021

(BNP) – According to the ranking of Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in 2021, Bac Ninh province ranked 7th out of 63 provinces and cities with 69.45 points, up 3 ranks and up 2.71 points compared to 2020, still in the group of localities with good results.

06 indexes increased points compared to 2020 including Access to land increases by 0.07 points; Transparency increased by 1.05 points; Time costs increased by 0.05 points; Proactivity increased by 0.72 points; Business support policy increased by 0.52 points; Law and order increased 0.11 points.

04 indexes dropped points including Entry cost decreased by 0.51 points; Informal charges decreased by 0.42 points; Policy bias decreased 0.17 points; Labor policy decreased 0.08 points.

According to the PCI Index rankings, this is the 5th year in a row Quang Ninh has topped the charts. It was followed by the northern port city of Hai Phong with 70.61 points and Dong Thap with 70.53 points. Cao Bang province ranked the last with 56.29 points.

In the Red River Delta region, Bac Ninh province ranked 4th after Quang Ninh (1st), Hai Phong (2nd) and Vinh Phuc (5th).
