Bac Ninh welcomes 2.3 million tourists in 2024
(BNP) - In 2024, the province welcomed about 2,300,000 tourists, an increase of 40% over the same period in 2023. Total revenue reached VND 1,900 billion, an increase of 50% over the same period in 2023.

The tourism service business network system currently has nearly 555 business establishments providing tourism services, including a system of accommodation establishments sufficient to meet the demand during peak times in the early spring months as well as a chain of nearly 500 large and diverse restaurants providing customers with a variety of cuisines. Currently, over 3,700 people work directly in the province's tourism business.
In addition, 14 historical tourist attractions have been recognized. The province has many agricultural eco-tourism models such as: Thanh Thuy tourism (Tu Son), Grenn Fram eco-tourism, Omely (Tien Du), Life Garden (Thuan Thanh)... and some school tourism attractions such as: Provincial Museum, Temple of Literature, Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center...
In the coming time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will strengthen the planning and implementation of the development planning of tourist areas and spots; focus on building tourism infrastructure that connects OCOP products with community tourism, develop community tourism associated with the model of new rural areas: Developing cruise infrastructure on the Cau and Duong rivers; investing projects in essential infrastructure for 14 tourist destinations; developing tourism products based on traditional cultural heritage values such as: Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs, Dong Ho painting making, National Treasures, typical National relics, festivals, traditional craft villages...
