Bac Ninh wins 1 Gold and 3 Silver medals at Forum Festival, singing folk songs from 3 regions
(BNP) – The Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) and the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province jointly held the Forum Festival, singing folk songs from 3 regions from May 1 to August 5, 2023, in Vinh city, Nghe An province.
The performance "Tưởng đến gần xa" (Thinking near and far) wins the Gold Medal at the Festival.
The Festival featured 29 mass art troupes from the Cultural Center, Arts and Culture Center, Cinema Culture Center, and Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition of the provinces and cities with thousands of artists, actors, and musicians across the country.
The Bac Ninh delegation took part in the festival under the theme "Tiêu Tương dòng sông huyền thoại" (Tieu Tuong legendary river). 40 artists, actors, and musicians gave stunning and one-of-a-kind performances.
The Organizing Committee awarded 31 Gold Medals, 59 Silver Medals for special performances, and 11 Gold Medals, 16 Silver Medals for the entire delegation of provinces and cities at the end of the Festival.
Bac Ninh delegation won 01 Gold Medal for the performance "Tưởng đến gần xa" (Thinking near and far); 02 Silver medals for the performance "Gọi đò" (Calling a cockboat), "Nợ duyên" (Predestined debt) and Silver medal for the whole group. At the same time, the delegation received the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.
