Ngo Xa Temple - typical cultural work of local people
(BNP) - Ngo Xa Temple, Long Chau Commune, Yen Phong District was built a long time ago. In 1947, the temple was repaired; in 1993, the “Tien te” (Front Ceremonial Hall) court was restored; in 2014, people repaired the temple, upgraded the foundation and redid the entire architecture. The temple has been ranked as a national historical relic in Decision No. 100-VH/QD dated January 21, 1989.

Ngo Xa Temple is facing south; in front is a lake and airy rice fields. The temple grounds are large, with many trees and gardens, creating a beautiful landscape for the relic.

The temple worships the famous pastor Nguyen Hong, who was born and raised in Man Xa village. From a young age, he was well-known for his martial arts skills and intelligence.
Tien Te does not make a door system, so that it can be ventilated with the surrounding area.
The king saw that he was a humble man of martial arts, so the king invited him to be Do Uy and brought his army to fight Tien Tu. He brought troops straight to Giao Chau to fight with the Luong historian in a fierce battle. The Luong army was defeated, lost and ran, he was victorious and pursued, and Tien Tu was forced to flee to the country.

Following it, the Luong mandarin led by Tran Ba Tien invaded once more. The King, the mandarins, and the Captain General set out for Da Trach. Tran Ba Tien brought his troops to chase. The king and him and the generals resisted, lost and broken.
The Trung Den court has 03 compartments and the Hau Cung (Emperor’s Harem) has 01 compartment to form the structure of the Chinese “Dinh” letter.

After Ly Nam De died, Nguyen Hong sent troops to Man Xa village. When the Luong army arrived, he resisted, but was surrounded by the enemy. He rode into battle to break the siege, and then plunged himself into the river of martyrdom.
Artifacts dating back to the Le and Nguyen dynasties are also kept in the Temple.
With high merits, he was granted a royal scene and worshipped as a god during the reign of King Le Dai Hanh (980 - 988), considering that he was a man of excellent merits.
The roof is carved with stylized clouds and flowers.

In the temple, there are still some typical artifacts such as: altar, throne, tablet of the Le dynasty; incense, parallel sentences, palanquin... dating from the Nguyen Dynasty.
