(BNP) – On September 10, a delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of Provincial People's Committee visited and worked with the Embassy of Vietnam in China.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Ta Dang Doan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Bac Ninh City Party Committee and leaders of Departments, sectors and localities.
Ambassador of the Embassy of Vietnam in China Ninh Thanh Cong welcomed and worked with the Delegation.
Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang thanked the Ambassador and officials at the Embassy for assisting Bac Ninh province in organizing an investment promotion seminar in Beijing, especially they invited Chinese enterprises to attend the Seminar as well as spent their time to welcome the Delegation.

Giang also briefed the Ambassador on the significant socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province in recent times with many indicators among the top in the country. With a favorable geo-economic and political location as well as attractive preferential investment policies, up to now, Bac Ninh has become a shining point in foreign investment attraction with nearly 2.000 valid FDI projects totaling registered investment capital of about USD 24,4 billion from 39 countries and territories… Among which, China has 444 projects with a total capital of USD 950 million.

Sharing the orientation of investment attraction in the upcoming time, Giang highlighted that, Bac Ninh would focus on selective investment attraction, green investment projects, high-tech industry, supporting industry associated with advanced management and administration method; 5G and 6G end-to-end technology; high-tech and clean agriculture; high-end commercial and service complexes; investment projects of infrastructure, urban and ecology development.

Giang hoped that the Embassy would be a bridge to promote and encourage Chinese enterprises to research investment in Bac Ninh province, especially in the fields which are the strengths of Chinese enterprises. At the same time, it could support the province in carrying out information exchange activities, promoting the distinctive cultural values, heritages and famous tourist destinations to the Chinese people. Initially, Bac Ninh is advocating for UNESCO to recognize the technique of making Dong Ho folk paintings as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in urgent need of human protection, thereby, creating a favorable condition for the delegation’s activities of promoting investment, trade, local culture and tourism.

The Ambassador Ninh Thanh Cong expressed his impression and appreciation of Bac Ninh province’s potentials and development over the past time. He also affirmed that, in his position, he would actively promote and introduce the image of Bac Ninh province as well as connect Chinese localities and enterprises to visit and research the province’s investment environment.
According to the schedule, the Delegation of Bac Ninh province will work in China from September 10 to September 16. The Delegation will organize 2 Conferences on meeting enterprises and investment promotion in Beijing and Suzhou as well as work with several Chinese enterprises including Goertek Group, Zhong Yi Feng Group, iFlytek Group, EU-Conch, He He Hui Enterprise Club.
