Vietnam-Japan Investment Forum held in Kanagawa prefecture

(BNP) - On September 8, a delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung attended the Vietnam-Japan Investment Forum in Kanagawa province (Japan).

The Forum was jointly held by Ministry of Planning and Investment, Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and Kanagawa Prefecture with the participation of Vietnamese - Japanese guests and more than 120 Japanese businesses.

At the Forum, leader of the Provincial Industrial Zones Authority presented the province's potential and development direction to Japanese enterprises and investors, affirming that Bac Ninh has been one of the 10 leading localities across the country with a vast industrial park infrastructure of approximately 7,000 hectares that has been developed synchronously and modernly. Bac Ninh province has consistently improved the business investment environment in recent years, focusing on constructing infrastructure; speeding progress of developing new industrial parks, establishing a big land fund ready to welcome investors, and adopting ways to improve the efficiency of high-quality labor attraction while assuring the stability of all human resources to increase production and business efficiency of enterprises.

On the other hand, the province also prioritized investment attraction and created the most favorable conditions for Japanese investors to invest in industries and fields such as High-tech industry, supporting industry, environmentally friendly; high-tech agriculture, clean agriculture; trade and service industries; new occupations on the industry 4.0 platform; development of urban areas, commercial and service complexes, high-end resort eco-areas, and health care and so on.

Representatives from enterprises and investors also exchanged and reviewed policies and the environment in order to explore cooperation  and investment prospects in Bac Ninh province. Kanagawa prefecture’s enterprises also introduced their operations and production size and greatly valued the investment environment of Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular with numerous advantageous regulations and constantly improving administrative procedures. At the same time, they stated that this will be a suitable location for Kanagawa enterprises to invest and grow their production size.
