Chu family's clan ancestral house - place to worship and honor the family's notable
(BNP) - Chu family's clan ancestral house located in the midst of Vong Nguyet village, Tam Giang commune, Yen Phong district, was constructed during the Le Dynasty, worshiping the family's ancestors and famed scholar Dr. Chu Dich Huan (in 1532).

Dr. Chu Dich Huan, a famous academician, was born in 1494, the year of the tiger. He earned the Third Armored Doctorate at the age of 39 from the Nham Thin faculty under the reign of Mac Dang Dung (1532), during the third Dai Chinh era. After passing the exam, he was appointed by the court as an official to the position of Huu Thi Lang Bo Ho, title of Lien Khe Marquis.

The clan ancestral house still holds onto a number of valuable antique document, including: 01 genealogy written in ancient Chinese characters on “dó” paper; the stone stele "Chu toc bi" engraved with Chinese characters built in the third year of Dong Khanh (1888); diaphragms, couplets, thrones, tablets... all of which date back to the Nguyen Dynasty.
